Opener Repair & Installation: Recent Work

Newly installed belt-drive garage door opener with its LED light on

Quiet belt-drive opener with LED light

A belt-drive opener is much quieter than an old chain drive, which is a big plus with a bedroom over the garage. This one lights up the whole space, too.

Wall-mounted jackshaft garage door opener beside the door track

Wall-mount opener frees up the ceiling

A wall-mount (jackshaft) opener sits beside the door instead of overhead, leaving the ceiling clear for storage racks, a car lift, or a high-lift door.

Opener upgrade on an insulated door

Insulated doors are heavier, so we make sure the springs and opener are matched to the extra weight. The result is a door that runs smoothly and quietly.

Opener Repair & Installation FAQs

Which opener brands do you work on?

We repair and service LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Linear, Craftsman, and most other major brands.

Should I repair or replace my opener?

If your opener is fairly new and the problem is a sensor, remote, or worn gear, repair usually makes sense. If it's 10–15+ years old or lacks modern safety features, a new opener is often the better value. We'll give you an honest recommendation.

Can you install a smart / Wi-Fi opener?

Yes. We install smart openers that let you open, close, and check your door from your phone.

Why does my door go back up before it closes?

Usually the safety sensors near the floor are misaligned, dirty, or blocked. Sometimes it's a travel-limit or force setting. We can diagnose and fix it quickly.
